Extended Closure of all EOJ Constituency Offices

KINGSTON, Jamaica; The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) constituency offices across the island will remain closed to the public, until April 30, 2020 or until further advised. Additionally, its Head Office at Duke Street, Kingston will operate on a scaled-down basis between the hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm daily.

 

“We apologize for any inconvenience our extended closure will cause, but assure Jamaica that our efforts are in line with the Ministry of Health and Wellness and remain the best approach in limiting the spread of the Covid-19 during this time,” stated Glasspole Brown, Director of Elections.

 

The EOJ would also like to advise individuals seeking to make the May 31st voters’ list who received summons to appear before the Returning Officer for his or her Constituency on April 1 OR 2, 2020, that the sittings have been rescheduled to May 5 OR 6, 2020 or until further advised.
